As a low maintenance color specialist, my goal is to help you embrace your natural color with subtle enhancements that make you feel like the best version of yourself. Whether you're a natural blonde, brunette, or you even have some greys sparkling through, my lived-in color techniques will give you the modern color story you've been dreaming of.
Equally as much as I love coloring, I love haircutting too! I believe that the haircut is the foundation of a great color and I love creating all shapes from precision to textured on straight and curly textures.
Outside the salon I'm probably totally feral somewhere in a barn, or in the woods. It's not unusual to find me on a reading a book while I'm trail riding my horse, Delite with my 11 yr old black lab mix, Wrangler, tagging along. I've also spent quite a bit of time traveling these last couple years, which led to me creating a side business building websites for hair stylists to give me even more flexibility to travel.

When I bring you back to my chair, the first thing we'll do is have a conversation. I want to understand your goals for our visit, hopes for the future, and your lifestyle. I won't pick up my tools or even put a cape on you until we are 100% on the same page and you feel confident moving forward.

Every custom highlight package includes a toner, treatment, and blow-dry. I choose not to "add on" these because I know how essential they are to give you the best results!

When you're in my chair I'm going to share all my knowledge with you on how to best care for your hair so you can have success long term. However, it's a lot to remember and I totally expect you to forget half of it! Which is exactly why I'll send you an email recapping all the home care and maintenance options I recommend for you.
**We carry very little retail in the studio. I'm happy to custom order for you to pick up in the salon, but mostly I send you home with samples and links to purchase the products I've had the best results with online.

I'm a *little* bit obsessed with Eufora! I made the switch in 2020 when I was looking for a healthy haircare alternative in the hope that reducing chemicals and carcinogens in my daily life would help my hormonal migraines. Not only did my migraines disappear, my guests and I all saw incredible results with our hair and even skin.
What Makes Eufora Different
It's plant based, fragrance free, and unlike most brands (professional and not) its actually SUPER concentrated. Eufora does not add any water, and instead uses certified organic aloe as the base of their products. Because aloe has a lighter molecular weight than water, it won't weigh your hair down but it will give you tons of benefit!
PS, when you shampoo use a VERY SMALL amount of product with a LOT of water.

Location & ParkingDani King Hair Studio 1052 Park Rd, Blandon, PA We're conveniently located just a few minutes off 222, 15 minutes north of Reading and 30-40 minutes south of Allentown. We're in a low traffic area, and out parking lot has more than enough space and is easy to get in and out of.

What payment methods do you accept?All major credit cards (swipe, chip, and tap) + apple/google pay. We also accept cash- we just ask for exact change. Gratuity is always appreciated and never expected. If you choose to leave gratuity cash or venmo is appreciated and preferred, or it can be added to your card transaction.

Cancellation/Rescheduling/Sickness PolicyAll salon policies are subject to change at the discretion of Laura Nelson Hair Artist and Dani King Hair Studio. Cancellation/Rescheduling Cancellations/rescheduling accepted up to 48 hours before the scheduled service. Within 48 hours of the service, cancellations/reschedules will be charged 100% of the scheduled cost and must be paid before rescheduling/booking new appointments. If you are sick please contact us as soon as possible! We do everything we can to avoid passing sickness around the salon and will happily reschedule you. Please give us as much notice as you can so we have an opportunity to fill your spot. Tardiness Please contact me immediately if you are going to be late to your appointment. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if you are more than 15 minutes late. My cancellation/reschedule policy will apply. If time allows we may provide the option to receive a portion of your scheduled services. You will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Return/Refund Policy We do not offer returns or refunds on services, products, or other.

Are there any services you don't do?Yes! I don't do perms, special occasion styling/weddings, chunky highlights, or vivids (okay maybe I'll do a vivid on occasion). I'm happy to refer you to someone else for these services!

What if I need an adjustment after our visit?You LOVING your hair is so important to me. Please contact me within 7 days (the sooner the better) so we can get you back in for an adjustment. Please keep in mind that it takes a few visits for us to really get to know each other, and for me to know everything you love- and everything you don't. I won't be offended if you give me feedback that helps me learn what you love!

We will discuss realistic expectations prior to beginning any service, and I will keep you informed throughout the whole process. If at any point during your service I feel that the integrity of your hair may become compromised, I will immediately discuss other options with you. Are you sick of inspo pics and you just want someone to do what they think looks best on you? Book this! Well set some basic parameters together (length, shape, color family) and discuss your lifestyle before I create a totally custom color and cut story for YOU. After your visit I will ask for a google review and social media post, and I’ll ever give you a special referral code to share with friends/family.

THE CREATIVE FREEDOM
Services
All color packages are charged at the rate of $100 per hour, which includes a haircut/blowdry and any necessary "add ons." I don't belive in sticker shock and I do believe in doing all the services necessary to achieve your dream hair. Stand alone haircuts are charged at the rate of $75 per hour.
